maya 8.
ARGH. maya is driving me nuts.
I'm currently learning the basics of polygon modelling in maya8 to gain some experience and exposure to this program so that I can (hopefully) do a successful transfer to digital animation. And it's driving me nuts.
Tutorial says go to Select -> Select Edge Loop Tool. Simple enough. The problem is, I can't find the Select menu! I think they forgot to update the tutorial after Maya 8 came out. I tried googling and I found a forum post with someone experiencing the exact problem.
I am going to tear my hair out soon.
