right.

right. so i've joined the music ministry last week. handling 4 ministries is gonna be difficult, but i'm sure god has something in store for me. i joined comms ministry and music ministry because i'm really really sure god wants me to do it. i prayed and i asked god to show me signs, and he did, so i guess there's no way there i can NOT join them. hahah.

yes.

i'm searching for a marshall bluesbreaker and a marshall echohead pedal, if anyone by chance has any of those and is willing to sell it, please please sms me! davis is selling for $165 each which is crazy.

action.

i went to peninsula plaza to lower my guitar's action but i think the guy who fixed it lowered it a tad too much, now a couple strings have fret buzz. i guess i'll need to go back again tomorrow.

anyway, i've been trying to catch up on my reading and guitar playing and at the same time i'm busy with a lot of church and BB meetings and commitments. and i'm starting to get irritated by people who keep saying 'you do this/you do that lah, you so free what, never work' whenever there's things to be done. I don't understand why people can't seem to understand that the reason why I don't work is because i'm already very preoccupied with other stuff now, and I do not have the time to actually do paid work. and from what i see (and if i assume wrongly, please do correct me), most part-time work are stuff like data entry, manual labour or some administrative work which allows me to learn zilch. but a few weeks back i was considering working at like botak jones and hope that some customer will yell at me when i'm serving food so that i can observe the way i react.

concert.

yay i just got a SMS from church asking me to cover the tim hughes concert next saturday. whoopee!

Anyway, I've been reading up quite a bit following my disastrous first attempt at low lighting, indoor photography last month. What I've found out is that spot metering's the best, go for the faster lenses (goes without saying), and the likes which I can't recall right now.

I had ALOT of trouble with exposure the last time i took the photos. I brought my fastest AFD lens, which was the really slow kit lens that my nikon d70s came with. I didn't bother to bring my 50mm f1.8 because it was manual. How I regretted.

Anyway, any ideas for faster, and cheap lenses? I really don't want to have a repeat of what happened the last time. If I hadn't learned my lesson, then I don't deserved to be given a second chance!
