almost time.

Yeap, almost time to go back camp.

After 4 long days of fun, I almost thought I was a civilian again. I thought.

But really, it's been fun, and quite long too. Granted, I had a blast. Towned on Saturday, Movie on Sunday, Dinner last night, and book in today. Haven't had so much time out for about 6 months.

Come to think of it, it's almost 7 months since enlistment. For the next 3 weeks (and maybe even ofr a month), I'd be very very busy, and after that things will be slack. I've got some major fire fighting to do for the next few days to a week. Which I am SO not looking forward to. So the 4 days I've had was quite nice, for a change. Heh.

Okay, lucily it's Wednesday tomorrow. So what I'm looking forward to would be Taboo on tomorrow night, Urban on Thursday, then book out on Friday! A pity I would be doing duty on Saturday.

Okay, time to slack abit more, then I'll be leaving the house in about 25 minutes time. See you on Friday!

great.

this week has been great.

I spent the last few days coming back so late, dad gets pissed off. But really, it's been great.

I finally watched a movie (my last one was Da Vinci Code) at VivoCity last night. That place is fricking crowded, I tell you. Spent today morning at Khien's house rehearsing. Then we went 4tones for jamming session. It was fun. I think we can actually play Amber Pacific's Thoughts Before Me quite well.

Songs that we can actually play are:

1. Amber Pacific - Thoughts Before Me
2. Blink 182 - Dammit
3. The Ataris - San Dimas High School Football Rules
4. The Starting Line - Saddest Girl Story
5. Finch - Letters To You

Yay.

Time to slack, sleep.

Maybe photoshoot tomorrow, maybe home tomorrow. Who knows.

After it all, then it's back to reality. Argh!

when bed bugs bite.

I think my bed has bed bugs. Why do I think so? I just got my second wave of bites from an unknown souce last night. I slept, and woke up with 2 bites on my right hand, one on my left, 4 on my neck, and a gigantua and on right thigh. The last time round, I had 7 on my neck and 4 on my hands.

It's itchy, and swollen. I don't think it's mosquitos' doing, because nobody else seems to get bitten except for me.

I'm gonna do a full scale check on my bed frame and mattress. Since both have been there for god-knows-how-long, I guess there's a high possibility of bedbugs.

Anyway, it's Friday night, the best time of the week.

Nothin much happening, except I can say that work in the office in extremely stressful these days. My guess is that this is the peak of the workload, I'm currently focusing on 2 major upcoming events, and at the same time doing my usual work. It's damn difficult, but I can cope, I think. After November everything would go down to a lull so my life would get better, but I also foresee lots of saikang to do.

And hey, it's been 6 months since enlistment. Fast, eh.

Alright, time to surf around, then sleep. BB meeting tomorrow, seeya!

this is forever in the words you never said.

HI.

Just booked out, so it's only right for me to say, "BOOK OUT LOH!"

Wohooo!

I had duty yesterday, was super boring. As usual.

I played with the puppy who always hangs around near the guardroom yesterday. Couldn't resist, heh.

Then at the bus stop outside the camp the stray dog came over to me and said, 'hi'. I think it was quite lonely. I think people don't pet it often, because when I pet it the whole dog started shivering for awhile. Then after awhile it stopped shivering. Then I became happy. Then the dog started licking my jeans and sneakers. And my hand. Then I became sad because I was afraid of fleas and lice jumping over from the dog to my head. Then the bus came and I flagged it. The dog ALMOST went up the bus too. Weird.

Okay so I'm here and I'll be booking in later tonight. Hohoho.

Okay, time to sleep, game and perhaps town too. Okay bye!

PS: I think I've decided to get Emily The Strange.

the showdown.

These are the two guitars I was talking about, in all it's glory:

1. Emily The Strange Epiphone

2. Obey Squier Strat.

Yum yum yum.

smiles and her laughter.

Well, today was a usual Sunday. Went to church, then came home to practise on the guitar.

Oh well, like I say every Sunday, "Oh well, that's another weekend.". Fast, isn' it? I'm sure those who are taking their A's this year would agree with me on this. Fast too, that 10 months have gone and past. The juniors in JJ are gonna start their exams.

So this weekend has been great. Oh, I bought this Sax CD for only $5 at Gramaphone, near Pastamania at Orchard Road last night. Then today, I bought this SaxChill CD at CD-rama for also $5. Yay.

Okay, book in at 2230 later. And then hopefully I'll catch you guys on Tuesday. But starting this week nights off might be on Wednesday. So, yeah. I'm on duty this Saturday too. Apart from that, I sure hope it'd be a better week. Heh heh!

okay bye!

stop expecting change.

Today was quite a blast. I woke up at 2pm, then headed straigt to Khien's house to meet up with the rest. After spending half an hour there, we went straight to Aljunied, as planned.

The jamming studio is just beside the MRT. It's called Wee Lee. Yep. So it's this really old place which reminds me of the one near my place. We booked the 6pm one. Since we were 1 and a 1/2 hours early, we decided to walk to Swee Lee. It took us an excruciating 30min to walk there.

The guitars over at Swee Lee are real cool. There's an Obey one, which is a Squire Strat, only $499. It looks REALLY good, it's in green and black, with tribal markings. Real good. There's another Epiphone, it has the picture of Emily the Strange on it. Also $499. Yum. I'm so tempted to get that as a replacement for my Aria STG, but due to sentimental reasons (I got it as my birthday present 2 years ago). I bought another capo for my acoustic too.

We walked back to Aljunied MRT (another excruciating 30minutes) and met up with Hans. So we walked to the studio. Due to various reasons (one of which was included in my previous post) , our songs choices were limited. In the end, if I remember correctly, these were the songs we played:

The Ataris - San Dimas High School Football Rules
Blink 182 - Dammit
Finch - Letters to You
MxPx - GSF
The Storyline - Saddest Girl Story

That's it. We pretty much played San Dimas like 4 times.

We played for only 1 hour, after that we went to Orchard to eat.

Then went home.
